Well I found it strange because I'm used to the open and freely available
standards of the W3C or IETF.
The problem I think is, individual developers should have access to these
standards, while I agree companies or national organizations can afford to
pay for them.

Well I'm afraid I'm not good enough to participate to any standard
organization ;) (After all I'm still a student !)
