Alain :  This would indeed be an interesting by-product of the OpenCard
development process.

Alain :  Yes, it might accelerate the development process.

Alain :  This approach is frequently used but I believe that it is
fraught with many potential pitfalls. The interface will be driven by
the underlying engin instead of by the user's needs. Programmers are so
familiar with computers that they take many details for granted and the
users end up wondering why "they" made it so complicated.
Interface-driven development is the way to go, or so say the
professionals that I have worked with before, during and after my
graduate studies in Interactive Multimedia.

Alain :  Yes, it might accelerate the development process, but let's not
lose sight of the fact that our main objective is OpenCard as an
authoring system comparable to HyperCard, but better still.
