Anthony: That was a fair amount of exageration. But there are lost messages,
pyramid money schemes, and pornography adds.
Anthony: Also, there are problems with "messages becoming stale" (it's
called "expiring", btw). If one does not read news for a while,
one could miss an important message.
Anthony: While your email normally waits for you to read it, some news
servers toss messages after a few days. Some don't have reliable
feeds (i.e., you don't get all the messages). Some don't have good
upstream feeds (i.e., your messages vanish into a black whole).
Anthony: And they all have spam. And lots of it.
