I have had various thoughts about things like that, but I'd prefer if we
got to things like that later when we have our HyperCard-compatible proof
finished. I don't think we should also attempt classes, let's leave that to
Dan, we're not that good.
But I think we could attempt one of two things for version 2:
implement "groups" that can contain a couple of objects. Then we could
implement vector graphic objects and the group could be allowed to trap
clicks in its sub-objects ("parts" in HC terminology), and could them
implement any kind of custom object.
Or we could implement "user parts" which get click, draw etc. messages and
thus allow doing custom objects. But I think we could discuss that on the
xTalk list, too. MC is also looking for things like this right now, and I
prefer standardized stuff to everybody cooking their very own soup.
