It is becomming increasingly apparent that I made a mistake somewhere in
the pseudo-Memory Manager which is a part of the Interperpreter port. It's
trying to allocate some 800MB os RAM and I (as of yet) can't figure out
why.

I think I've about found it, though... I've sort of narrowed it down. How
I wish I had MacsBug on Linux!!!
