It has a basic structure, but many object descriptors ("there is a[n]
<object>"), functions ("the number of card buttons") and almost all
commands are exceptions, as they don't follow any formal syntax. This makes
it so complicated to cast it into a formal syntax.

If you use a formal syntax, you usually have lots of exceptions. Or you
keep the syntax very general, that is, every line starts with one word
identifying the command to executed, or a structure like "if", "repeat" or
"try", and the command is parsed according to its own rule.
