 I hope we can have this clause interpreted (changed) so it lets us ship
the current sources, and not those from 3 years ago ?

 Yup, we don't want to be sued. But can anybody sue us because we send them
a CD-R or maybe some files they don't know what to do with? If we have a
disclaimer of liability like every sane person distributing in the US, we
should be safe in this regard.

 if we used wxWindows we'd have a lot less files, because we'd simply point
people at the wxWindows web site.
