Small correction: though Cross Worlds does have an agreement to resell
MetaCard, they don't have any agreement with MetaCard Corporation to
develop a new UI. That's just something they've taken on themselves.
It is a project we've encouraged, though, just as we're supporting
this similar effort from the OpenCard group. In a sense, the two UIs
will be competitors and both will compete with the standard UI, but
they're very different in scale (the CWC editor is much more elaborate
than what the OC group should shoot for, at least for the first
release). And while I'm sure Cross Worlds would be happy to have you
help on their UI, their UI is a product that they intend to sell and
as such probably wouldn't be released for the OC group to use.
