>>>Mark: I think those are inflated assumptions >>>that are NOT real. >>Alain: Adrian is not a twit, Mark. If he says that >>he has had such problems, then it is surely true. >Anthony: I think he was refering to me. Alain: The person targeted by Mark's comment is not a twit, irregardless of who was in fact targeted. It seemed to me like he was putting into question the credibility of the person, instead of dealing with the issue(s). Personal attacks are not constructive. As such, my comment does not just target Mark but everyone, including myself. I over-reacted though, and my intervention was less-than-exemplary. I apologize to everyone, and to Mark in particular. > Anthony: I said that. Adrian might not be > too happy with these mis-attributions. Alain: Two whammies in the same post. Bad post. Sorry about the mis-attributions. My reading of that post was askew in terms of who said what. What threw me was that Anthony was one of the most vocal critics of NNTP several months ago, but seems to be its most vocal proponent this time around. Nothing wrong with that. It just threw me ... and led to my mis-attributions. Alain: I am making a sincere effort though to maintain the historic-context of citations by maintaining those greater-than symbols, in correct numbers, all the while attributing as best I can un-identified chunks to their true originator. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
