I think 640 x 480 is a reasonable assumption.

I think we should of course try not to prevent it from working on 9"
screens (it's my default window size when I create a new window anyway),
but before we get a crammed interface I'd prefer if we made it a bit
larger. The engine should of course be able to create and run stacks of and
at any size, but if the windows look a bit cluttered on 9" screens and only
three lines of text show in a field I'd say it isn't always worth the
hassle. Summary:
1) Max. 13" color screen (640x480)
2) best 8" B/W screen's size (512x342)

It's just a university "Universitaet des Saarlandes" (i.e. uni in the
state "Saarland").

Yeah, things like that happen to me, too. When I told my sister what nice
Idea I had to handle operator precedence, all worked out by myself, she
paused a moment and said "I think that's called shift/reduce". :-)
