Anthony: Let's make it work on the old 9", too...

Alain: While it would be nice if we could agree on a
standard, anyone creating stacks for the GUI will
chose the size that he wishes. I, for one, will not
waste my time designing for a 9" screen. It is just
not relevant enough for MY purposes/clients. (shrug)

Anthony: ... because HC does.

Alain: Was that the size of the original MacPlus? Is
that what you are referring to? If so, it might be
worth considering (e.g. there are a lot of them out
there gathering dust) but the limitations of these
circa 1984 machines might overly constrain what we
want FreeCard to be or to become. Max 4 MB of RAM,
clocked at 8 MHz, black-and-white screen, etc.

Anthony: Let's not waste a single millimeter of screen
real estate.

Alain: Ouch! Spacing is a very important design
element. A whole bunch of controls and parts, all
bunched up, without any spacing, constrained to a 9"
surface ... is not ergonomic (e.g. easy-to-use and
pleasant-to-look-at).
