I am looking to identify candidate cards and readers for a project I
am working on. We have a Java client app that I would like to
integrate with cards via OCF and have of course scanned the OCF pages
to find readers with CardTerminal implementations. I expect that
we will have to write a CardService for the particular application.
I am restricted by the requirement that on each of our boxes, we must
use one of our serial ports for the mouse, and the other for a modem;
this requiremnent is unfortunately inflexible.
Having advocated a relatively flexible Java and OCF-based design, I
am now unsure if I can match OCF CardTerminal support with our
physical port requirements. I am hoping that someone can suggest a
solution, based on past experience.
