Hi Moshe,
unfortunaly some application must be compliant with ISO7816-4 set of
commands, for compatibility with existing no-java card for instance.
dealing with a light and efficient file system is far of obvious and may be
it's why the javacardx.framework package has been removed in 2.1
specifications.
i think that a file package can still be usefull, don't you think ?
