That's my fault, sorry I wasn't clear enough in what I said.
Some questions are related to configuration of *OpenCard*
(e.g., proper settings of properties for javax.comm) while
some others are related to configuration of *the IDE* itself
(I saw "Is anyone using XxxEnv? How to include new JARs etc.").
Of course, besides that, everybody has the right to choose
whichever environment he/she wants, and ... learn to use it!

The problem we have (had?) with J++ is not because of the
features that were added, but because of the features that
were *removed*: namely the possibility to handle JNI and RMI.
Now, it seems that these features have been put back as Tom
says in a further reply. In this case, it's fine, you can
use it with OCF; I was still under the idea that it was not
possible, so I'm sorry for saying something wrong if it's
the case now... (I will put in the FAQ that it works but only
with version >= xxx (6.00.8424?)).

That's actually a legal statement! And please allow me the
right to think that research is not clicking on color buttons.
I'll grant you the one to use J++ ;-)
Cheers,
Christophe.
