Are you 100% sure you have installed the Windows Smart Card Base Components properly? Did the Siemens come with a driver install for this? You must have SCBASE.EXE installed, then SMCLIB.EXE, and then your drivers. Some driver installs will do this for you, others won't. Are you getting any console output/exceptions? Have you verified that the reader works with Windows applications yet?
