Has anyone ever managed to even get this thing to write data (towitoko
chipdrive and OCF (pc/sc))?
I've managed to get the samples to detect insertion and removal of the
smart card, but I was never able to get it to write a simple text... I
just wanted to store "hello world" in the card... I have no idea where I
can store it, I don't even know if I have to specify a region on the
card... But I assume OCF takes of it.

Anyone have some kind of sample??.. I think the OCF installation method
stinks like rotten eggs. I've messed around with the installation
before because when I attempted to reverse engineer the .java programs
and saw how they were using the classes, and calling methods, I tried to
do the same in my programs but they would never work because of missing
classes, and other such errors about not finding particular files.

So if you are one who managed to install the OCF for towitoko and have
followed the instructions faithfully, and have been able to write
something as lame as "hello world" I would greatly appreciate any
response to my problem. Thanks.

Subject: [OCF] OCF & Towitoko ChipDrive

Hi !

During writing my first Java-Applications with OCF1.2 & Towitoko
ChipDrive some difficulties encountered.

I understood that Towitoko doesn't provide a real Java-Driver (*.jar).

Is it right, that the only solution is to choose the PC/SC bridging?

When PC/SC bridging is the only solution, what's the advantages to use
the OCF?

I've find out that some ChipDrive users, use a JavaDriver from Giesecke
& Devrient.

Is this driver usable and where can I get this pure JavaDriver?

Thank you

Lutz Beckmann
