I am new to the OCF and Smart Card technology. Is there a good FAQ or
sample code that would help me out there? I just want to see if works or
not.

I have purchased a GemPC400 smart card reader to replace an older GCR400
that my company has. I was told that the GCR400 became obsolete when
Windows 2000 and XP required Smart Card readers with PnP feature. Of course
the GemPC400 uses a PCMCIA interface which is great for my laptop and tablet
PC, but not so good for my desktop. Do you know of a good cheap product
that interfaces a PCMCIA to a desktop computer? I have my eyes on the
Kingston Digital Media Reader (USB to ATA) named FCR-U2ATA.
(http://www.kingston.com/) I just don't know if it'll work or not. ATA
implies a hard drive.

Thank you,
