I use a ISA/PCMCIA bridge so I can use PCMCIA cards in my desktop
systems. There are also PCI/PCMCIA bridges available.

I haven't used the above cards. I cannot speak to their quality but I
suspect their fine if OpenBSD recommends them. I typically buy the ISA
cards, branded by Lucent. I use these bridges with 802.11 wireless
cards. There are lots of other brands out there. Search your favorite
vendor's catalog. When I purchased, they sold for around US$60 plus
shipping. I bet you can find less expensive.

You'll probably need to use the OCF-PC/SC bridge software to use the
GemPC400 (aka GPR400). I don't think there is an OCF-native driver for
that reader.

good luck,
