ObjectWeb (http://www.objectweb.org) is a consortium, founded by BULL, INRIA
and France Telecom R&D, whose goal is to promote open source middleware
technologies.
ObjectWeb is organized into projects and working groups.
Main projects are :
Jonas, an open source J2EE server,
OpenCCM, an open implementation of CORBA CCM specification
Jonathan, an ORB
JORAM, a open source Message-oriented middleware
Workings groups works on architecture, security, deployement, ...
ObjectWeb has its own software infrastructure including sourceforge, CVS
repositories, archived mailing-list. It is a growing Open Source community,
raising more and more contributors and projects
I think that Open source OCF initiative could be part of ObjectWeb and i
think we may consider the opportunity to join.
