The good thing is that I see the DDX driver is working fine with current DRM driver! And it shows: [ 42.943] (II) [drm] KMS supported [ 42.943] (II) CHROME(0): [drm] via interface version: 3.0.0 [ 42.943] (II) CHROME(0): DRI 2 api not supported yet ... ... [ 42.948] (II) CHROME(0): KMSCrtcInit [ 43.104] (II) CHROME(0): Output VGA-0 has no monitor section [ 43.622] (II) CHROME(0): Output HDMI-0 has no monitor section [ 44.141] (II) CHROME(0): Output DVI-0 has no monitor section It shows current DDX(xf86-video-openchrome) is asking DRM if KMS is supported and then it uses KMS CRTC initialization code to make CRTC work. Let me check more on current KMS driver(i.e., HDMI support)...
