 From the debian bug report's xorg log :
 (II) CHROME(0): Targa: Using default hsync range of 31.50-37.90 kHz
 (II) CHROME(0): Targa: Using default vrefresh range of 50.00-70.00 Hz
 (II) CHROME(0): Clock range:  20.00 to 230.00 MHz

 The monitor is not sending any EDID, so the driver is falling back to the
 default values for HorizSync and VertRefresh. I'll tend to say the bug is
 with the monitor, not the driver.
