Today one more person sent a mail to Debian's bug report saying that he
had the same problem.
I asked them to check if the bit from the xorg log was also present in
theirs (just to make sure, I'd say it is obvious that it will be there),
and if they could provide some info about their monitors. I'll report back
as soon as they reply.
