Well all I can say is that is completely broken. That chipset is trying to use the bios modes to set the resolution and the bios is only giving back 1 resolution. If you guys are interested in helping debug things, I will post a patch to try and get proper Panel Modesetting on your chipset. The timing will be weird because I am down in Melbourne AU now. With some patience I think we can get this fixed up for you by Xmas.
