This is probably unrelated, but you don't need to set HorizSync,
VertRefresh and Display size in the monitor section. HorizSync and
VertRefresh are almost the same than what the monitor reports, but
DisplaySize is off by one. I would recommend to remove all of them.
Could you please also attach the xorg log from a VT switch with trunk
revision 592 ?
