Ok, here are the log files requested:
The Xorg.0.log.kernel-2.6.24-19 file is from the old Ubuntu 8.04 kernel
which has a working driver (I get picture on TV and all is well).
Xorg.0.log.kernel-2.6.28 is from the new Ubuntu 9.04 kernel which gives me
no picture on TV and makes Xorg eat 100% CPU.
