I tried the trunk (rev 758) and with kernel 2.6.24 it works just as good
as the driver shipped with ubuntu 9.04. I tried combinations of:
* EXA or XAA
* DRI enabled or disabled
I noticed that glxinfo reports that the OpeGl renderer is "Software
rasterizer", but maybe that is because the drm module that was used was
the one for my 2.6.24 kernel which is too old?
2.6.28 kernel still shows the same problem as before with 100% cpu usage
and no image on screen.
I'll try to compile rev 532 later and see what happens.
