#348: Can not get past 800x600 resolution

I have a ASRock K7VM3 motherboard with VIA KM400 chipset and ubuntu 9.10
Karmic.
It was running okay at 1024x768 until some update and since than I can not
make it to return to a higher resolution.
I have tried many changes on xorg.conf without success.
The last action was to install the 904 openchrome driver.
I am sending attached my log file and xorg.conf with the hope you guys can
tell me what am I doing wrong.
