I found nothing useful by googling. The scrolls in the screen are horrible. I succesfully installed the binary `xserver-xorg-video-openchrome' package for Debian (I use Lenny as of now). Should I edit xorg.conf somehow? I uninstalled `xserver-xorg-video-via' as a spanish user suggests here:
http://wiki.debian.org/TarjetaVideoUnichrome ...in order to build the driver. But as far as the Openchrome Documentation in http://www.openchrome.org suggests installing the binary package if possible for the distribution in use, this is what I did. However the output of glxinfo | grep rendering ...throws something like direct rendering: No (If you want to find out why, try setting LIBGL_DEBUG=verbose) The full specs are Packard Bell with AMD K8 Sempron 2,93 Mhz 448 mb ram 150 gb HD and K8M800/K8N800/K8N800A [S3 UniChrome Pro] graphic onboard controller. Any idea on this? _______________________________________________ openchrome-users mailing list [email protected] http://wiki.openchrome.org/mailman/listinfo/openchrome-users Main page: http://www.openchrome.org Wiki: http://wiki.openchrome.org User Forum: http://wiki.openchrome.org/tikiwiki/tiki-view_forum.php?forumId=1
