I'm Jayakara Kini and I'm an engineer at Pluribus Networks (http://www.pluribusnetworks.com). We have server switches and solutions on them.
I went through the docs at http://www.opencompute.org/wiki/Networking/SpecsAndDesigns and the header files at https://github.com/opencomputeproject/OCP-Networking-Project-Community-Contributions/tree/master/sai/inc. I joined this mailing list yesterday and had a quick look at the archives.
We want to provide SAI APIs for our switch. I see some hardware specifications in the SpecsAndDesigns page. I believe this is not a necessary step for implementing SAI APIs. I did go through the specs and the header files in the github. Are there any steps, processes, docs or anything else I need to look at? Also are there any reference implementations that are open sourced that I can look at? If there are, I hope the source license will not prevent me from looking at them
