Thanks David, your suggestion fixed the problem. Incidently, I wonder if I shouldn't have set CXXFLAGS (?) similarly. I noticed some suspicious warnings while compiling StepperInteractor.C the second time around: StepperInteractor.C:206: warning: initialization to `int' from `double' But dx works now, so I'm happy!
