(After examining the charter of the different e-mail lists,
I think my question belongs here. I apologize if I
have misjudged this.)
We hope to use dx as an interface to java classes we have written
(or will soon write).
I have just built opendx 4.1.3. I managed to get javadx to build
properly, I believe.
I am confused on at least a few points:
1) Are java modules pretty much like c & c++ modules, with
the main difference being that they must be called via JNI?
2) What is the role of the java server? of htmlpages/dx.jar?
dx-4.1.3/README refers to html & httpd: are these a
necesarry part of javadx?
3) Where can I look to get started? I hope to find a little
"Hello DX World" module in order to get acquainted with
how things get glued together.
I will be grateful for any advice you can give!
