It was a bit troublesome to have it stop dropping tools on the canvas with every click. I had to click again in the tools section to stop it. Moving the pointer into the Tools area, simply positions the tool at the edge of the canvas. No deletion at all. Note: I'm using present CVS. >>simply remember its name.
