Hi,
I've have built opendx from Davids latest tar ball with out problems on
solaris and IRIX64 . In both cases I used the supplied configure script.
solaris:
~>uname -a
SunOS [***] 5.8 Generic_108528-15 sun4u sparc SUNW,Sun-Blade-1000
~>cc -V
cc: Sun WorkShop 6 update 2 C 5.3 2001/05/15

IRIX:
~>uname -a
IRIX64 [***] 6.5 01100601 IP35
~>cc -version
MIPSpro Compilers: Version 7.3.1.3m

Some notes:
I used gnu 'make' in both cases. (This may not be required).
The IRIX version required 'setenv CXXFLAGS -LANG:std'. I think this is
only because I have old versions of the mips compiler. The newer
versions use this by default I believe.

I used 'configure --with-javadx=no' for the sun version since I don't
have an up to date java installation.

Otherwise it built and ran fine, with very few warnings.

Some 'verification' networks may be a good idea - or one of the samples.
Any recommended tests?

John
