You will have to drop into debug then and I would say put a
breakpoint on IncrementStepper and step through to see what the
problem may be. Try putting a watch on value and new_value.

Unfortuantely I am still getting the same error even after modifying
dxconfig.h to
#undef HAVE_TRUNC
