Did you follow the install instructions in the README file? Did you
read the README file before downloading?

Are you using OpenDX.bat file to start OpenDX?

You need the following in your Windows ENV

SET DXDATA=C:\OpenDX\dx\samples\data
SET DXMODULES=C:\OpenDX\dx\bin_intelnt
SET DXMACROS=C:\OpenDX\dx\samples\macros
SET XkeysymDB=C:\OpenDX\bin\XkeysymDB
SET XerrorDB=C:\OpenDX\bin\XErrorDB
