Ilya is correct, but you may also want to look at the Inquire module which
can ask questions about the data object and its structure, then can direct
Route (or Switch) to send objects down particular pathways in the net.

Can you clarify your description for me? Do you mean you are using the
"!exec arg arg" technique for firing a shell executable to create an
Importable object, or did you really write an MPI (Message Passing
Interface) module which I associate with parallel computing environments?
If the latter, we'd love to see you donate it or at least a full
