Hi, Re 2.6, this is open source, ANYTHING could be relevant! Is dx installed in /usr/local/dx? Does the UI's message window (Windows...Open MessageWindow) have anything in it?
Meanwhile, your workaround is to start dx -execonly and dx -uionly then from the UI use Connection...Start Server... Options... Connect To Running Server ... OK...
