Is not that twm? one of the most basic one... >I would assume I'd need Exceed but don't have the finances right > now. > I've "heard" there's a port of XFree for Cygwin, does anybody > know of a port > of XFree for Interix or the contact details for the team who are > developing > the Cygwin Port? I am the lead developers for Cygwin/XFree... but to put your request off before you attempt to ask for Interix... No I do not have any intentions for it. Also I do not have any intentions to feed M$ customers... sorry. Interix relies on a already existing posix subsytem on NT and that posix subsystem is outdated. The X support in Interix is lousy. It is X11R5, outdated and Interix cannot even build X shared libraries. I have no time or resource and also desire to support M$. They got enough money to do it themselves. Sorry Suhaib > > Bill R
