Hi all,
I am attempting to use DX to obtain spatial distances for ALL
possible pairs of a set of stationary points in a two-dimensional grid.
What I have are distances from EACH point relative to ONLY TWO other
points; I do not have coordinate data, nor do I have 'true' vector data.
I'd like to obtain distances for EACH individual point relative to EVERY
OTHER point. Does DX possess the capabilities to use triangulation in
order to solve this problem? I read the information regarding the
"Construct", "Connect", "Show Connections", and "Show Positions" modules,
yet my understanding is that vector data are necessary as the inputs.
However, in the absence of vector data, can DX assign RELATIVE coordinates
for EVERY point and, subsequently, calculate pairwise distances in a
spatial model?
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you require clarification. I
would really appreciate your input! Thanks for your consideration.
Sincerely,
Kelly Gallagher
