I have just installed DX on my IBM Risc/6000. Everything seems to work fine in the tutorials except for "Using the Sequencer." When I followed the instructions and hit the 'sequencer' button under the execute menu, the VPE and image windows disappear immediately. Note, however, that when this happens, dx does not crash and the Data Explorer window remains open. I have also tried just double clicking on the sequencer icon, but the result is the same. Is anyone familiar with this problem? Here are details about the installation:
I am running dx on an IBM RISC/6000 43P Model 260 with a GXT3000P graphics card. I installed DX by following the instructions on the web page www.opendx.org/cgi-bin/e-merge.pl After downloading dxsamples_4.0.8.tar.gz and opendx-4.1.0-aix42.tar.gz (by clicking the AIXv4.2orhigherversion4.1.0 button on the web page). I installed with the command cd /usr/local gzip -d -c /tmp/opendx*.tar.gz | tar xvf - Here is the output of the dx -version command: dx -version /usr/local/DX4.0.10xlcjx/bin/dx[64]: test: 0403-004 Specify a parameter with this command.
