I have no solution to your problem, but the subject title is wrong.
This being relative to the task that we try to perform.
It seems that I have one tenth of your computer resource at home.
AMD 66MHz, memory 40MBytes, virtual memory is may be 1GBytes.
The Operating system is Linux.

And I do not have the describe problem. May be an alternative solution
is to be able to have dual boot your computer or buy a cheap
low end computer which can handle this task.
