Subject: [opendx-users] graphics problem

Hi users,

I am running DX on a DEC alpha, which works fine for me if I do not use
software rendering (-> immediate crash). BUT, my colleague with a
different video card (ELSA GLoria Synergy something) gets a strange
rendering behaviour:

At startup+exec. of a program.net the orig viewpoint displays without
delay. Good. But, if I tri to change viewpoint (zoom, rotate etc.)
stupidly slow rendering takes place (however small the case), and when it
is finaly finished the original view pops back again, like it is cashed
away somewhere and overlays the desired view.
I have tried some different ENV-settings (DXNO_BACKING_STORE, DXPIXELTYPE
etc) without change in behaviour.

( BTW, I have no problems running DX from my station with the other one as
the server.)

Could somebody give me a push?

thank you
/Niklas
