As the author of that stuff, I don't know the problem. It's very old. On
the other hand, I have used it with newer versions of DX and not seen any
problem.

FYI, there is a tutorial available on using those tools, available at
http://www.research.ibm.com/dx/proceedings/cart/index.htm

I could provide a somewhat newer version of the package, which includes a
lot more applications, if someone wanted. It's a few hundred MB, however.

Subject: [opendx-users] Question about DX bonuspak

I am new to DX and slowly learning it. I have downloaded the "bonuspak"
modules and tried to produce a map using the worldmap or
worldmapprojections macros. Everytime I try to use them, I get an error
message involving WDBI.dx that basically says "WorldMap: Import: Invalid
data: 1st item in 'connections' component (218759168) is not between 0 and
109927". I also get this error with other map data sets. Is this a
problem with the data set or is it a problem with the current release of
Data Explorer? We're using version 4.1.0.

Thank you,
Michael Rizzo
