I installed the newest opendx for windows and have problems running it properly.
When I start the editor directly (start->IBM Visualisation Explorer->editor) everything works fine. I can open any .net file, execute it and it shows the graphics nicely. But when I try to use the several programs starting from the startupUI I get problems. Here two exapmles are described: example I: starting at the data explorer ui I do Import Data -> Data Prompter -> load C:\opendx\samples\data\FacesLoopsEdges.dx -> Data Explorer File -> Visualize Data... and get an error message: Messages... Executive version: 4 1 1 Excutive/UI interface 2 0 0 Creation date: Thu Mar 18 11:35:28 EST 1999 Creation host: linux gdal.watson.ibm.com 2.0.32 ERROR: UI[5,10]: parse error: include"\ ERROR: UI[10,16]: parse error: "test_file","C:\ ERROR: main: function does not exist WARNING: : Function return values are ignored: main ERROR: UI[24,10]: parse error: include"\ ERROR: UI[29,16]: parse error: "test_file","C:\ ERROR: main: function does not exist WARNING: : Function return values are ignored: main example II: Run Visual Programs -> load C:\opendx\samples\tutorial\Color2D.net The Data Explorer starts up but nothing happens. somtimes I could kill the Data Explorer window and got the message: "Could not Connect to Dxexec" Anybody any suggestions to solve my problems?
