As I mentioned in the original email, dx -edit with the Cygwin binaries,
gives exactly the same error message, i.e.
$ dx -edit
Starting DX user interface
Internal error detected at "MacroDefinition.C":631.
No files needed to be saved.
0 [sig] dxui 236 open_stackdumpfile: Dumping stack trace to dxui.exe.stack
dump
Aborted (core dumped)
Perhaps there is something wrong with file or header file(s) associated
with this file? Otherwise, perhaps there is something I am missing? I would
prefer to use the Cygwin version over the Windows version. Many thanks,
