Dear All,
I would like to show my very simple data. The temperature of a box. First, I
used the ShowBoundary, it looked fine in the center. But at the elements on
the edges between the boundaries surface. It is not shape enough. The color is
average between two boundaries. Next, I use the MapToPlane to cut my box into
six plane similar as 6 boundaries. The quality is very good.
Does any one know, what the happening with ShowBoundary object?

ShowBoundary forces the renderer to render polygonal surfaces of your volume.
Remove it and you get volume rendering (there is no VolumeRendering
module required). Thus you get the fuzzy indistinct 3d volumetric
"cloud".
Cutting a volume into discrete 2D polygonal surfaces or Mapping to a
Plane (2D topology in 3-space) forces the renderer to automatically
revert to polygon rendering, thus you don't need ShowBoundary (if you
do, you'd get the line around the boundary of the polygon).
