Thanks for the information. Clearly I'd not fully understood loops and Set/Get.
Chapter 4.6 (and others) in the User's Guide go into hideous detail on this subject; it still took me some time to "get" this concept (since it does run counter to the standard data-flow scheme). You may have already read them. If not, it's worth a look for anyone contemplating looping. The docs are of course linked off the opendx.org site. Hope everyone knows that.
Not mentioned but a very bad idea: don't ever try to put two For... modules at the same scope (inside same macro for example). Bad things happen.
