Hi! All! I want to make a color shaded plot of a 2D data defined on a regular grid. The data has a symmetry plane which is parallel to y-axis. If I plot isosurfaces (contour lines), they show the correct symmetry. However, if I use color shading, the resulting image does not have the symmetry and looks rather distorted.
I wonder if any of you can help me with this problem.
