The times I've seen this, its been due to the size of the data set.
If the data set is so large that certain objects can't be cached,
then it has to start from the beginning. You can also try playing
with the Cache settings for specific modules (such as the module
right before the Image). You may also try turning off your Image
Window's caching.

Hi,
I have a network which opens and displays four data files. Each
time I make a change in the image window - rotation, translation,
Reset View, etc, the program seems to start from the beginning with
importing all the data files again and so on. Is this supposed to
happen this way - that the files have to re-imported, calculations
rerun, etc. - when I only wanted to change my view point?
