Can you set DXROOT and then run dxworker by itself? Try the following:
setenv DXROOT /usr/local/dx
/usr/local/dx/bin/dxworker
David
I would appreciate help on fixing this problem; I just can't figure it
right now. When I ran dx or /usr/local/bin/dx (as root or user) I get
/usr/local/bin/dx: /usr/local/dx/bin/dxworker: No such file or directory
/usr/local/bin/dx: /usr/local/dx/bin/dxworker: No such file or directory
The files are where they should be, I have correct permissions and
the shell is bash.
I compiled and installed dx-4.1.3 in the potato debian distribution
of linux with
xfree86 updated to 4.1.0 on a dell 8100 inspiron laptop with NVidia
GeForce2 Go
1.0-2313 modules supporting openGL. Compilation and installation
went smooth after
lots of troubleshooting to create the 2.4.16 kernel and
compile/load te NVidia module.
Thanks. I really appreciate any help.
